WRITING

I am primarily a playwright, novelist, and short fiction writer, but my fiction has a tendency to blur, delving into autofiction, essay, and speculative creative nonfiction. My novel and short story collection in progress live in a surrealist, speculative fiction mode. My writing explores many elements, but I almost always incorporate themes of addiction & recovery, mental illness, memory and nostalgia, generational trauma, and multi-ethnic & multicultural identity.

I’m also a freelance writer of technical copy, marketing copy, personalized poems & letters, articles, and essays, as well as a freelance copy editor and fiction literary editor. I am currently the assistant managing editor at Randolph College’s Revolute Lit Mag and senior fiction editor at the ASP Bulletin from Alan Squire Publishing.
